Irfan, Amir receive Seri Selangor boost

Petaling Jaya [SELANGOR]: Rising professionals Irfan Yusoff and Amir Nazrin Jailani will carry the Seri Selangor Golf Club (KGSS) badge on their sleeves as part of a sponsorship agreement with the country’s pioneer public golf couse.

In a short statement, KGSS general manager Hairul Hisham Mohamad Zaini shared his confidence that both youngsters have the potential to become highly successful professionals, following in the footsteps of the club’s past ambassadors Shaaban Hussin and Sivachandhran Supramaniam.

“We sincerely believe that Irfan and Amir have a great future ahead of them and Kelab Golf Seri Selangor is delighted to have them as our ambassadors. Both players are immensely talented and we hope that with our suppport, they will go on to reach greater heights in their golfing careers,” said Hairul.

Kedahan Irfan is a one-time Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour winner while 19-year-old Amir is a former national who began his golfing journey as a junior trainee at the club.
