Singapore joins Myanmar on top after Round 2

Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian pairing of Kenneth de Silva and Tan Wei Chean remained fourth in the standings after round two of the second Etiqa ASEAN Cup at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club’s West Course today.

The duo combined for a dismal round of seven-over 79 to stay six shots off halfway leaders Singapore and Myanmar. The alternate shot format meant some low scores today with the Lions Jerome Ng and Marc Ong carding the round’s best of five-over-par 77 to share the lead with Myanmar on 146. The format of play will revert to the fourball  format tomorrow before the deciding round is played based on alternate shot.
