Sukree stays ahead in Kinrara

Puchong [SELANGOR]: Sukree Othman scrambled with a one-under 70 to stay ahead of the chasing pack after the second round of the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Kinrara Championship on Thursday.

Sukree moved to seven-under 135 at Kinrara Golf Club to enjoy a one-stroke cushion over Kenneth De Silva, who himself shot a second round 70 at the RM180,000 tournament.

In third place was Shaaban Hussin, whose three-under 68 tied the best round of the day. He was on five-under 137, one stroke clear of Nicholas Pua (68) and Kemarol Baharin (69), who were joint fourth on 138.

A total of 48 professionals and 5 amateurs made the halfway cut, which came at seven-over 149.
