Kajang, Selangor; May 6: Ben Leong made his way up the leaderboard

after a spectacular third round of seven-under-par 65 at the PGM-ADT-Impian Classic today.

The 25-year-old Sabahan enjoyed a  flawless round, carding five birdies and one eagle  to lie seven strokes behind American Jonathan Moore and Himmat Rai of India, who are tied for the lead on 17-under-par 199.

Co-overnight leader Artemio Murakami of the Philippines will start Sunday’s final round one shot back after signing for a 68 while American Will Yanagisawa finished the day in fourth place, four behind, after a 69.

Another local hopeful, Akhmal Tarmizee carded a round of six-under 66 to share seventh place with Korean T.J. Kim on 207.  Airil Rizman (68) and Chia (72) were further three shots back in tied eleventh.

The Impian Classic, the third leg of this season’s Asian Development Tour, is organised by the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour.
