Kangar (PERLIS): Airil Rizman Zahari scaled to the top of the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Perlis Championship at Putra Golf Club on Friday, hoping to repeat his 2012 victory in his home state.

Sabahan Ben Leong returned with a one-over 73 to take a share of second alongside halfway leader Abel Tam, who slipped with a 74 to finish one-under 215.

Wilson Choo’s even-par 72 had him in fourth place, a shot further back, while  Tour’s Order of Merit leader R. Nachimuthu (74) and Kim Leun Kwang (74) were joint fifth on one-under.
